- - ![](https://ethosconnected.com/hubfs/rain%20-%20flooding.jpg) Paige Wireless (now Ethos Connected) and SAS are combining their technologies and smart systems to offer a risk management system to businesses and governments that addresses flood risk and control. The companies will use Ethos Connected's LorRaWAN network and Internet of Things-enabled sensor technology with SAS’s artificial intelligence for the platform. The partnership will help businesses be prepared for flooding situations with predictive analytics, and data to enhance early alert systems that will help with preventative actions and real-time response, the companies say. According to the companies, by 2030 more than 147 million people will be impacted by flooding events. Flooding can destroy buildings and cut off access to critical services. The companies say they will work with governments to mitigate flooding risks before they happen. 06/30/2022 [David Worford](https://ethosconnected.com/news/author/david-worford) Share: - - - ### More Related Posts [All Posts](https://ethosconnected.com/news) [![](https://ethosconnected.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Ethos%20-%20Who%20is%20Ethos%20V1.0.png?width=352&name=Ethos%20-%20Who%20is%20Ethos%20V1.0.png)](https://ethosconnected.com/news/paige-electric-lp-delivers-on-connecting-you-to-more-launches-paige-wireless) 03/05/2019 [Joseph Ronson](https://ethosconnected.com/news/author/joseph-ronson) ##### [Paige Electric delivers on “Connecting You to More”; launches Paige Wireless (now Ethos Connected)](https://ethosconnected.com/news/paige-electric-lp-delivers-on-connecting-you-to-more-launches-paige-wireless) [![](https://ethosconnected.com/hs-fs/hubfs/paige-tekletic-partnership.jpeg?width=352&name=paige-tekletic-partnership.jpeg)](https://ethosconnected.com/news/paige-wireless-and-tektelic-communications-inc-join-to-enhance-precision-agriculture-and-sustainability) 06/11/2019 [CW News Desk](https://ethosconnected.com/news/author/cw-news-desk) ##### [Paige Wireless and TEKTELIC Communications Inc.
