VeriFood™ was created for food producers dedicated to providing responsibly raised food, and food processors seeking to validate quality standards. It enables straight-forward tracking and verification of on-farm practices.

VeriFood™ empowers consumers to understand where, how, and who raised their food. In turn, they have peace of mind about the food they choose for themselves and their families.

- VeriFood™ is easily installed with minimal infrastructure and integrates with existing solutions. No specialty technical skills are required to get set up and start collecting data.
- Consumers simply scan a QR code to get insights on their food with data straight from the farmer, no middle man needed.

- VeriFood™ leverages [Paige Wireless™ LoRaWAN®](https://www.paigewireless.com/) based IoT devices to provide consistent communications where connectivity is often not available or marginal.
- Data is uploaded automatically, as it happens, enabling on-the-spot decision-making to improve operational efficiencies.
- Consumers wanting to understand how their food was produced can connect directly with the people who produced it.

##### The VeriFood™ team is a combination of farmers, techies, and consumers. We built VeriFood™ with the desire to provide full transparency about how food is produced so that consumers can trust their food and the people who raised it.

We feel connected to farmers who are humble, no-nonsense types with high morals. And we believe being quiet about the way food is produced needs to change. Consumers deserve to know their food comes from people who are caring, respectful, and accountable. It requires a tool that can track, verify, and report what’s happening on the farm in a way that tells the story of today’s farming. And that’s exactly what we’ve built.
